Most pieces in my collection are created as decorative art.

Each piece is thoughtfully crafted with the properties of the wood being a major factor in the emerging shape and form.

To honour the wood, I'm striving for true, clean lines and am wary of distracting decorations

Often my work expresses a sharp edge or a delicate surface extruded to a thin rim. These are signatures of my designs.

In other pieces I choose to celebrate natural features like knots, bark, sometimes even cracks, to tell part of

the life story of the tree that provided the wood.
